Our Story
One of Lancaster’s favorite restaurants featuring warm hospitality, unparalleled service and a unique blend of French, Asian, and American cuisines that is the signature Checkers Bistro style. Our inventive seasonal menu showcases our commitment to using local ingredients and purveyors.
We offer two distinct dining experiences in the Bar and in the Dining Room. Both serve the full menu, while the bar also offers special weekday and weekend social hour selections in a more casual, walk-in atmosphere.
Checkers Bistro originally opened in 2006, in an intimate neighborhood location, and relocated to the historical Champion Forge building in 2014, just a few blocks around the corner.
